But now I'm even more confused -- three more recommendations for three more different models. They all have decent on-line reviews, although one person complained that you can't get repair parts for the Eastwood unit. That's probably a good question on all of them. There's a whole lot of complicated power electronics inside those things and without a schematic it's impossible to troubleshoot. Otherwise it sounds like any of them in the $1000 range are okay.
