I have decided to sell my Custom Cummins Powered 1954 M37. I built this Custom M37 as a expedition vehicle for a planned trip from Upstate, New York to Prudhoe Bay (Dead Horse) Alaska, crossing the Arctic Circle at 66 degrees 33 minutes north. Then continuing to Inuvik, North West Territories and continuing to Yellowknife, North West Territories and then back to New York State. The trip would include driving the North Canol Rd and if time permits going all the way to Macmillan Pass where the road ends. The total mileage with side trips I estimated at 11,500 miles. I built this truck to take me there..........and bring me home. Do to a lower Back injury I got when I was 6 years old, now getting worse with age, I realize my back would not tolerate 11,500 miles. Thus I have decided to sell her, hopefully the new owner will enjoy a long expedition like I planned.

Build money was not spared, this truck got everything it needed to make it as dependable as possible. I had dependability in mind with each step of the build. I was going to be driving in extremely remote areas where a failure might be considered life threatening. Now that you know about the purpose that this truck was built for, lets look at the actual build. You can follow the build in pictures/text on my Image Event Web Site. http://www.imageevent.com/moosecreekmaple/m37project. Everything is documented there. Its critically important that you study the build album. So much was done, it cant all be listed here in the available space.

Over Memorial Day 2016, I went over the entire truck. Everything works, this truck needs NOTHING. A prospective buyer can not fully appreciate this truck in the Image Event Pictures. You need to come in person, see and drive her to appreciate what is being offered for sale. I have really given thought to a sale price, knowing what I spent to build her over 4 years. I want to be fair to myself and also to the buyer. The asking price is $40,000.00

Please feel free to email me at [email protected] and we can set a time where we can do a phone call.
Please put M37 in the subject line.
The truck is located at Schroon Lake, NY. 12870
