Well once you mess with them there even more worst off. If there tiny they will still be nursing. Most of the time Mon puts them in a area and leaves them once in a while to eat but comes back for them. At this age they don't have a smell predators pick up. If mom is dead they probley won't make it, but most of the time they won't make it with humans taking care of them. Most states it is against the law to step in and take care of them because of 99% of the time mom is near by. I know it is hard not to do something but there better off if you don't.
