Found a junk motor with a cracked block, 4 heads, 2 rear covers, 2 pairs of gears, governor, bucket of other parts, for $75 so that will be enough to make my adapter, but ideally I'd still like to find a top cover because it supports the diesel intake pipe and the compression release. Found 2 D4 pony motors in a scrap yard but they're an entirely different design so must be from something newer than a 7U series.
