The transmission was in neutral,
disengaged the front hubs
managed to get the front into neutral, this took a lot of wiggling and attempting to shift the levers.
the issue was one was part way into low and one was part way into high. If I pulled in the wrong direction the binding would have been made worse.
If I had not got it loose the next step would have been either drop the drive shafts or raise the tires off the ground.
Raising the tires off the ground makes it possible to have someone move the tire back and forth while a second person attempts to disengage the levers.
Mine got bound up when I had a brain fart, way off in the bush. I have yet to do a repeat.
