so i am in the process of getting my 49ffpw on the road tagged and insured. still pulling the wiring harness through.
my question is, what are your opinions on insurance? i plan on driving this truck to shows, parades, and occasionally to work if its a nice day and if i am not in a rush.
yes, i have tens upon tens of thousands of dollars in receipts(parts, material, and labor) for this truck but how much should this truck be insured for. I know what i think its worth but I'm biased. of course here in nj you need liability as a minimum but how much comprehensive coverage should be necessary? any guidelines or rule of thumb specific to these trucks?
i can value this truck at 85k or above with receipts and so on but is that what this truck might sell for(to the right person of course, Barrett Jackson) or should it be lumped into kelly blue book/nada values...
this truck will be stored year round in my garage and so on. i just don't want to be paying hundreds of dollars in insurance costs for something that is going to have antique tags on it. i live in new jersey so prices are already the highest.
