I need a spare and it will have to be a radial. What tire comes close to the XZL that is new and fresh? Basically a 40 inch.
I see that Interco has a few that are close to 40 inch in bias and radial.
The issue I have with radials that once they are a few years old they seem to crack or fail in the side wall when aired down, But I can get 80000 kms out of a radial.
The issue I have with bias ply is they used to wear out very quickl, with the newer ones I have no idea what to expect, but a shorter life seems to be the norm.. What i like is you can air down for years on end and the side wall does not crack or fail.
So what are you using? The Carryall gets used off road in some serious terrain but will travel a few long trips on pavement. Like Alaska.
