In 1939-1947 there were only two panels, the 1/2 ton 116" WB and the 1 ton 133" WB. I've seen a couple 1 1/2 tons that might have been special orders, but they use the same body as the 1 ton.
The military carryalls (4wd VC-6, WC-10, WC-17, WC-26, WC-53. 2wd WC-36, WC-48), and military panels (4wd WC-11, WC-19, WC-25. 2wd WC-49) were based on the 1/2 ton panel body. The ambulances, including the VF-407, were special made bodies not the standard panel body of that year.
