What do you do for a trouble light?

I've had an ongoing battle with trouble lights when working on a project. The incandescent bulbs blow out even using the rough service bulbs. Wondering what everyone else is using to see what you're doing? I've got an LED cordless but it has no hook to hang it by. My trouble light ended up on the floor today rather hard after the bulb blew out so I'm looking for a good replacement. Ok so they don't bounce when you throw them on the floor , it pissed me off for the last time.
