Ed, They do make that arm already bored to fit
the GM 1 ton tie rod end but it may not be at the proper length for your geometry so suggested
going the blank route to position the hole
where you want and on the side of the pitman arm you want. With the 7/8 hole and the insert
you can put the tie rod end on either side. Not
sure but think the tapered tie rod hole on there arm is on the outside.
