with all of the quality steel repro parts being made, it will soon be possible to find a good frame and cab and build a really sharp PW for short money. I'd rather have a newly skinned, super straight pw, built right than a professionally restored pw that still has all of the fire department add ons incorporated to the restoration. if i was building one, id start with a cc sammy glider kit and then just do a really clean and correct driveline install. unless you have a prime restoration candidate, taking a beat bed and tailgate back to perfect is difficult at best.
