wiring harness question

I'm about to install and electrical harness on my truck and had a friend put a ez wiring 21 wire harness in his 66c10. he was pleased with the product. it was 180.00 they also have a 12 wire harness. has anyone else bought a premade harness? i called 2 custom wiring companies and they wanted 800 and 1300. no way
