Attach the towbar to the M35 front axle using the chain clamp ends (watch the brake lines...). Extend the towbar to the minimum length needed to ensure that the trucks will not bind when turning a corner (the cable off the hoist should almost be vertical--see next step).

Basically, you take the wiffletree from the wrecker and slide it over the front lifting shackles of the M35 using the pins that come with the wiffletree to secure it (run them through the lifting shackles.). Raise the front end of the M35 using the hoist (hook on hoist goes through the throat of the wiffletree, the wiffletree handle/loop is only for you to use to carry it...).

Attach the tow lights to the rear of the M35 and run the power cable from the plug on the back of the wrecker to the light assembly.
