John: I jusr had this same issue with my brakes when I rebuilt the cylinders and put a new MC in. I bought speedy bleeders which are one way schrader valves that you replace the original bleeder valves with. /i did that and pumped at least a quart of fluid out and still pretty much no pedal. Then I had my wife come out and pump the brake while I opened and closed the bleeders six million times. Still not much better.

Then I connected my pressure bleeder to the MC and all the bubbles stopped in about five minutes and I was good to go. Now to pressurize my MC I had to replace the leaky old OEM gasket with one I made out of 1/32" EPDM (ok with brake fluid..) rubber.

I have about six more quarts of brake fluid left over now sinc I assumed it would take six more quarts....
