This 1940 VF-401 was recently listed on Hemmings Classified Ads. I found it when I was surfing the web looking for reference photos to help with Keith's restoration. Converted for civilian use with 2WD front fenders and grill and the cargo bed converted to a dump bed. The interior was like an olive drab time capsule. Running Spitfire engine, converted to 12 volts, and recent brake job. I was the second caller. A guy from Texas flew up and bought it today for the asking price of $5,000.
