Sorry for all the questions, but I have found very little info on the swap with a 24V Vp44 motor AND 47RE. I was thinking of using the 4L80, but I am understanding that it's not an ideal situation without dumping a bunch of $$ into it (which I have already done with the 47) and not the best if you plan on towing much, which I will be. I am also planning on upgrading all of the suspension to 1 ton and swapping the rear brakes out for discs.
