Foot pad to spring loop is a ratio of about 7:1. So a 50# spring has a load on your foot of about 7#.
Main clutch tension puts out 100#. 7% improvment?
Just take it out, see if you can even feel it.
Is low range, low gear too fast? Leave it crawling, until you catch up with the car in front. Them slide it into neutral without the clutch. Only clutch to get it back into granny.
