i have 5 year old michelins with less than 30k miles on them. they were the oem choice on my dodge 3500. i immediately removed them and put them on my yukon. they've dry rotted and cracked on the sidewall to the point that i need to replace them. otoh, my bfg a/t tires always give at least 60k miles and replacement due to wear is always the cause. need to keep the truck aligned and tires inflated properly. no rot, no fading, no balance issues. i believe michelin is trading on an old good reputation.
