I put an HX35 off of a 130 hp, p-pumped 4bt on my 105 hp VE-pumped 4bt.
I was encouraged to do this because I put an hx35 off of a p-pumped 6bt on my first gen Dodge. The hx35 hade a tremendous improvement on my 6bt replacing an H1C with a 16 mm exhaust housing. The truck is a 5 speed and the Hx35 spools much quicker on each shift.
I still think the hx35 upgrade was the right thing to do on the 4bt, but the improvement is much less noticeable, with an automatic behind the 4bt. Also, I think there is more tuning that need to be done to bring the hx35 to life. I am getting high EGTs, but still not making more than 10 psi boost. something is definitely not optimized, but I have yet to conclude what it needs next.
