......sounds like a 5 speed trans for sure......OD or not is uncertain.....it sounds pretty beat!!!....I would offer $1000.00 if you have that laying around....one thing to be wary of is the cost of ALL W500 stuff.!!! All parts are getting harder and harder to find.... the hubs are worth 2 or 3 hundred and the rest is questionable .....it all depends on you and the extent of work you wish to put into restoration.....................Prepare to go broke if you buy it. otherwise enjoy it if you decide to buy it......I have had 4 500s....it's a wonder my wife is still here...I now have 1 W500 and 8 other trucks..(It's me or the trucks!!!)..My wife is packing.
