Actually, the tailgates are 1" narrower on the 6 1/2' beds than on our W300M. I may still use the parts to build a bed for '66 WM300, but we also would have liked to use some parts in the restoration of the W300M and this difference in width will not make that possible. Thanks for your attempt at explaining my situation, and I wish that you had been correct, but they are different!!
