WM300 v. W series beds

Well, I picked up two 6 1/2' beds last weekend because I had information that I could use them to assemble an 8' bed for our '66 WM300. They are both in excellent condition with no rust, good tailgates(embossed), and they are straight! We disassembled them to store them and decided to take some measurements. To our disgust, we discovered that both of these beds are about an inch narrower than the 54 1/2" width of our W300M. We now have two very usable 6 1/2' beds that we are not sure if we will need. If anyone has any ideas, would like to trade/buy or has a good WM300 bed let us know.
