You can read my shameless post at the Sweptline site, but basically this is an easy swap. The brakes will work fine, however you may need to install a proportioning valve. The steering arm may need to be modified, no welding or cutting, just changing the ball joint size to mate up with the Sweptline arm. I did this on a '64 and it worked fine, with one exception, the 64 steering is behind the axle and on top of the arm, the 85 is in front of the axle and below the arm. This doesn't hamper the steering BUT the steering arm and shocks are in conflict. You may have to cut the shock mounts off of the 85 axle and move them to the 67 position to clear everything.
