Well guys, the time has finally arrived. It's time to get my old '73 W-100 road worthy again. I was going to sell her a few years ago but my son said "No Way Dad". I'm kinda glad cause I didn't really want to sell her and she's been in the family since new. My dad bought her new and I got her two years later when he died. I have a 52B3PW that needs some attention also but the '73 gets the nod for now. So here's my plan. The rear axle is scrap and I want to upgrade to disc brakes on the front. I figure the best way to go is to buy a complete parts truck. I'm looking for a '75 - '93 3/4 ton or single rear wheel 1 ton Power Wagon or Power Ram. Mine is a W-100 but I want to upgrade to the stronger axles. The body and engine are not terribly important but I do need both axles and the complete steering assembly including steering column and power steering box. I've seen these trucks for sale here in the past but the time (really money) wasn't right then. I'm looking for something in or close to NC but will travel for the right truck. I've also placed an ad in the classifides on this site. Thanks for the help.
