Can you come talk to my son? He's also in the 8th grade but has ABSOLUTELY no interest in my '49 PW. I've tried everything to try and get him interested, but skateboards are apparently cooler than PW's I guess. Heavy sigh....
I thought I had my daughter hooked, but she turned 11 and has turned into a little woman. She now prefers nail polish and hair spray to wheel bearing grease and gear oil. Go figure.
It's good to hear that there are STILL some kids out there that love old iron. I know I did when I was your age. Keep your grades up and never lose your passion for old trucks!
