Wood bed question...

Just got my new "1:1 scale model kit" of a '48 Power Wagon (it's in a million pieces!) and the guy has taken out the old wood, and he got all new oak from a friend of his, varnished and looking good. It's not tounge and groove, and I don't think he even measured any of the old stuff! I've got five or six strips of metal all painted and waiting to go on with all new bolts but can anyone offer me the widths of the planks? I can't seem to find this "carpentry" stuff in any of the mechanical manuals! Trying to guess by the holes in the bed undercarriage stuff and it looks to be about 5" width pieces on the outsides and 8" width on the inner planks. Close? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
Thanks!
Dana
