Rich.I used electric motors from J.C.Whitney. they work great. yes i wired them through the vacuum line. took a lot of patience getting the wires through. they bolt in the original large hole in the window frame with a single nut over the shaft sleeve. look and work great. Part #89YA4050N--$26.95. use the 11" blades. I used the 12v . they also come in 24v. different part #. get a catalog. I do not know if prices are the same as i got them in 4/20/97. the shafts are 1-1/2" on the motors.Call 312-431-6102.I did not see the arms and blades in the latest catalog. my part numbers were 81YA8807B---$7.99. that was for 1 arm and blade.
