One of the downsides of popularity of collectables is the old supply and demand game.
As supply goes down, price goes up, and people like you and me with limited money get squeezed out of the game at some point.
We have a gentlemen in town (Louisville) who just paid $12k for a perfectly restored WM.
The economists used to call that "inflation".
I don't know what is is now.
