The problem with rear fender availability stems
back to the real problem of bed availability for
the power wagon, WDX to WM300. These were work trucks, and I would say, for many , were owned not by individuals, but by power, gas, lumber companies, etc. As a result,
the beds were subject to some real hard use and abuse and got trashed far earlier than any other part of the vehicle. That is why you see so many flat beds- and so many people looking for beds. And rear fenders went to the junk yard along with the beds since they are bolted together. If you want to make a million dollars, come up with a WM300 bed that will
sell for $2000. You will have people beating down your door. I know where no less than 4 trucks are sitting right now-with no bed. So, the bad news is, there ain't no rear fenders left, just as there are no beds left. You can make rear fenders from M37 ones if you are a good welder.
You have to weld metal to make them wider.
One truck I got from Ashland Oil company last year had a M715 Jeep bed on it. Looked ok, but just wasn't DODGE.
Good luck,
Tom Jackson
