Hi;
I'm just getting to know my new '52 M37 and gradually
fixing it enough to be useable. It has the 230 flathead
chrysler engine. I've found a few puzzles maybe someone
can help me out with:

1) Where does the speedo cable go into the transfer
case (if indeed it does). My rig has no cable currently.

2) Where's the oil filter? There's a stubby doohickey
sticking out of the side of the block in line with the
fuel pump but below the carburetor. Does that have
something to do with the fuel filter?

3) Is there a "stock" heater for it? There's no place I
can see where it would plumb into the radiator or where
the hoses would go through the firewall or where the
outside air intake would go. How do other folks put a
heater in theirs? I want to plow snow in N. Idaho
with it, and I'd sure like a heater.

4) How do you get the front stub axles (the part that
goes into the hub) apart so you can replace the seals
on the front wheel assemblies? Do you have to take
half the front end off the truck and press them apart
with a hydraulic press?

5) Would I be nuts to try to drive the thing 400 miles
on the freeway to its new home?

Thanks for any info on any of these questions. I'm
sure the answer will be obvious once someone tells me.
