I lost a connecting rod bearing,..looks like it was bad when I got the vehicle.
So, The crank is naturally scored and I found a crack in a piston as well.
The crank mains have been taken down 20 and the connecting rods down 10...can I have the
connecting rod journals taken down more ? what's the max. I also know that the pistons are
40 over,...where to get replacements...
BTW, if anyone has a decent crank the hasn't been reconditioned yet and would like to part with it...
The truck is a 54 M37 with the standard 230cid ..
