Where do y0u get them? Goodyear used to supply them but stopped,
thats what I wanted in the first place but had to settle for the
McClearyies, not that they are a bad tire by any means, just wanted
the original look. As far as the military tread design goes you can
forget it in my opinion unless you spend most of you time on the road
or deep mud(no rocks), or loose dirt. I thought years ago before
I had very much experience off road they looked cool but after
having run jeeps and a number of 70's power wagons year round I wouldn't
have them except to catch over spray during the PW build up. That center
rib turns into ice skates during the winter and if you are into the
mud and rocks, all four wheels end up with the center rib on a wet rock.
From my experience almost anything is better.
