All of my books say that Power Wagons never came with a rear bumper. Mine was a Forest Service Truck in Idaho, and has one added. Two very stout pieces of angle iron have been welded to the rear crossmember on either side of the PTO opening/Pintle Hook mounting area. The bumber, also very stout, mounts to these brackets. It's a square sort of version of what's up front. I am pleased with it and plan to retain it, and have the option of using the pintle hook when the mood/chore seems to suit.
