We have similar signs here as well, seems no-one likes the sound of them in town. My farm is on a river valley and there's a local road with all sorts of signs, like steep grade, not suited to heavy vehicles - all that stuff. Well some of the high horse-power semi's and B doubles use this road as a short cut to various areas - it can shave 40 miles off some trips - man you should hear some of them riding the exhaust brakes all the way to the bottom and they use them during the night too.
