Are you running headers or stock ,cast manifolds?
If you can , run a cross over pipe as close to the trans as possible . More power plus it quiets things down.
Pipe diameter - keep it small, most folks go too large and you lose power and torque.
Mufflers - trying to find a quiet one is tough, most marketing seems to be towards making noise.
