6 volt heater on 12 volt truck

Everything on my WDX is 12 volts but the heater blower motor. What do I need in the way of a voltage reducer/resistor that will work well for this application? Part sources and part numbers for this will be greatly appreciated. Any technical discussion regarding amps, volts,resistance, power and ohms tends to stress my limited knowledge of electricity covered in my 10th grade physics class which was where I took my morning nap.
