Distributor cap help

Good Morning Everyone,

I recently was having some issues losing power when accelerating in my 62 WM300 (Which I believe to be a clogged fuel filter). While I was checking for problems I took my distributor cap off and checked for cracks. When I put it back on... NOTHING.. I cannot get it to start. I have never had any issues starting in the past. I checked the points and I have spark there. I also checked the fuel and I am getting fuel into the carb. Any thoughts?
