We have had a lot of bald eagles around here this year. One 1/2 stench of road near the town of Duval had 12 + eagles in the trees along the road. There has only been 1 or 2 in this area in past years. I like the increase. 100 miles north of Seattle the Skagit River has hundreds of eagles in the winter. It is the largest concentration of bald eagles in the lower 48.
They rescued a bald eagle recently. It was banded when it was in its birth nest. That was 34 years ago. It is the oldest know bald eagle in the US.
