When I did my wheels that I got from Dan Mininger last year they were rusty I used Dewalt DW4910 wire wheel then in the front side down in the narrow portion I used a forney #72747 6 inch wire wheel I did all this outside and primed with transtar # 4603 primer then painted with rustoleum high performance black and the rings with GM silver that I had in a spray can. They turned out great and not costly
