The proper way is to helicoil all of them. Or you maybe with some careful measuring, be able to drill out all the holes and retap with a metric thread that is just a little larger than the existing fasteners.
For example, 7/16 x 20 threaded holes can be drilled out with the proper size drill bit, and tapped for M12x1.75
Whenever your going to drill/tap the holes in the differential carrier, they all MUST be absolutely plumb or you may never be able to get the differential to go in.
