I like what you guys are doing. Just a thought/question:

Since there are three different fill caps on the master cylinders, would it be cost effective to just make a whole new cover plate to replace the original? You could weld a bung to it with your choice of threads, or, make the whole thing thick enough that you could tap whatever thread you want directly into it. Maybe Mic6 aluminum for high tolerance flatness and light weight. You could even counterbore for a face seal o-ring on the supply line if you wanted. And then, what is to keep the fluid from leaking out at the gasket between the original cover and the cylinder body? If making a new cover, one could mill the underside to allow for an o-ring seal to the body. Some of the original covers I have seen are about as flat as a roller coaster after having been tightened down with the 6 screws and crushing the gasket.
