I've heard of someone forgoing the nuts and tapping the holes on the crank flange. Are you using locktite on the threads? My flywheel is still on my 64 TWPW/318 and I was planning on taking emory paper to it to clean it and leave it on as it sounds like such a pain. This was advice from a mechanic who resurfaces flywheels to make money, but would not bother on his own. Gar
