If you were a real tall person you may want to mount it higher. I set this one to fit me it is a couple inches above my shoulder and the belt goes across my chest down to the buckle and across my lap. The mount for the bolt recesses into the jam bolted to it thru the jam next to the door. It would have to tear out the metal jam to pull it loose. Hope I never have to test it!
