The Control Valve is weather proof but I enclosed it to protect the handle and fittings. Even with air pressure you can pull it open some it does not clamp the tailgate tight but does close it till the latches lock in the top then you turn them in for a more secure lock. They are spring loaded and stick out a little so when it comes up the catch the tailgate. The bed is now done completely!
