Clark, I see you don't have the clutch pedal on the throw-out bearing forked shaft. I ran into the same thing doing the carryall. Put the petal and return spring in place so you aren't fighting the position of the forks in the throw out bearing carrier. The position of everything is hard to see from underneath.
Pull the trans back out position the petal, forks and throw out with the small spring on the top and try again.
