Len Dawson was around when I was looking for parts for my 1940 Plymouth PU in the mid 70's(the truck that started my desire for a power wagon 40 years later). I'll bet many of you remember waiting for Hemmings or Old Cars magazines then writing a letter to someone asking if they had parts. I remember buying Dodge truck parts books and I had some for the large trucks that most parts were not correct for mine just to have as many sources as i could. And I was young living paycheck to paycheck so the books were from the $1 table at the swapmeets. I remember how excited i got once i finally found the correct knob for the Mopar model 36 heater I installed in the truck. Never finished the truck that truck and it took me 40 years to get back into the hobby and I did finish the 56 Chevy. The PW is coming along too.
