I am wondering as to how you are going to mount it. For example, spaced off and away from the flat tailgate with ss nuts or washers, so that you can hose out the area behind the letters. However the letters would need to be well supported. One drawback would be that it would be a great place for hay, straw, chaff, bugs, and other debris to collect.
