I got pulled over driving a load of wood from my place over to my brother's. DNR guy acting like a cop - he wanted "documentation" for the wood. I told him he could come see some stumps.
Some day we will need documentation and probably pay a carbon tax.
4 cords is a lot of work for two guys. My kid and I would do two loads on the D300 in a day - about three cord but we don't drive far.
This was the first year I couldn't do much firewood because of my back. I have a desk job and sometimes I can't even do that. Some guys on disability for back injuries make cash cutting firewood. Ha.
