In our area of Maryland the only non-ethanol fuel is $11.00 per gallon race gas or Aviation gas at $5.00 per gallon. I use Av gas in all my two cycle equipment and my four cycle equipment that only runs a few times a year.
Av gas lasts years.
The modern gas, in addition to attracting water will change states over time. It turns into a jello like substance. Diesel fuel is not mixed with corn gas so it lasts.
