Took the Carryall out on a longer run yesterday. Maybe 40 miles. With the Cummins 105 horse the truck is just a tad underpowered on hills, on the flats it can run fine around 50mph. On pavement the ride is way smoother than I thought it would be, off road with the dana 60 and XZLs there is a lot of unsprung weight and I need to drive it more to figure out how I feel about the ride. Springs are 93 dodge front leafs, 96 dodge rear leafs plus huge Firestone bags.
Noise ? way too many rattles to track down before I know how noisy the truck will end up.
Heat - got two heaters - the second one that has 8ft of hose running from it seems to me to pump out as much heat as the first one. I am running a inline heater hose pump... Toasty in there with both on.
Vibration - there is a bit and some noises come and go as the harmonics change. I can see where remote cable shifters are a plus. One less thing to rattle.
Going to leave the truck alone for a few days and try and get my life back. Will put in an hour here and an hour there to work out some bugs, but not for awhile.

Thanks for the thoughts and help with this build.
Paul, Dan, Norm, Alex and about 20 more all helped along the way.

Take care

Bruce
